We fully inspect your filter before touching anything — laterals, multiport valve, O-rings and tank body all checked. We confirm your filter is compatible with glass media and identify anything that needs attention.
Old Media Removed
Complete removal of all old filter sand or worn glass media. Responsibly disposed of — not left on your property. Filter tank thoroughly cleaned inside before new media is loaded.
Laterals & O-Rings Checked
All laterals inspected for cracks and O-rings checked for wear. Damaged laterals flagged and quoted before proceeding — loading glass media over a cracked lateral defeats the purpose.
Glass Media Loaded
Correct grade and quantity of recycled glass media loaded precisely for your filter size — not over or underfilled. Glass media must be loaded correctly to perform at its best.
Backwash & Rinse
Full backwash and rinse cycle run to bed in the new glass media and flush any fine glass dust from the system before the filter cycle begins.
Test & Report
Flow and pressure test confirmed. Written service report provided with your new backwash schedule, glass media maintenance tips, and estimated next change interval.
